Abstract

Maulana Abul Kalam Azad's book Ghubar-e- Khatir consists mainly of the letters in which he wrote "Habib-ur-Rehman Khan Sherwani" in order to express his feelings and emotions during his captivity. These letters can be divided into two parts. The first type of correspondence deals with the routines of daily life and the surrounding environment in detail, while the second type of correspondence includes scientific and literary discussions and philosophical colors. Several editions of this book have been published so far, from which the popularity of these letters can be gauged. The letters are usually short but most of the letters of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad are unique in the sense that unlike other literary works they No single genre of speech can be named; its position and status cannot be determined by comparing Ghubar-e- Khatir with any particular genre of literature. Thematically and technically, it can be considered as a unique book of its kind in all genres of speech.
