Ramayana: Social Thought, A Study

The present study is based on the epic Ramayan. Ramayana is the story of Rama. Ramayana is classical text of Sanskrit literature.This great epic was composed by Sanskrit poet VALMIKI in 500 B.C. While studying it, the influence of the Ramayana tradition upon the indigenous tradition has been noted that this epic has a great influence on indiology. It is also main source of Indian mythology. Ramayana has a great influence on regional cultures studies. The Ramayana forms integration of Indian civilization, history, culture and tradition.It directly or indirectly made great effect on the language and literature.In the past history of united india urdu and persion translation of this text were made due to its influece in socity.It laid great impact on urdu literature, due to its vital role in art and culture more than 100 urdu translation of this epic has been done.This study also depect the importans of this sotry on social and feministic approach toword this master piece of sanskrit literature.
