Abstract
Mustansar Hussain Tarar's novel Bahaao offers, aside from other aspects, some beautiful examples of the means of rhetorical arts. In this novel, Tarar has used various parts of rhetoric such as metaphors, allusions, similes, etc. The article pinpoints the passages and sentences whereby such rhetorical elements are found and mentions the specific elements. A parallel with other famous Urdu novels is also drawn.
