PUBLISHING POLICY

• Frequency: URDU is a bi-annual research journal, published twice a year in Summer (June) and Fall (December).

• Publication Volume: In compliance with HEC guidelines, a maximum of fifteen (15) research articles are published per issue. The selection is strictly based on qualitative assessment and peer-review recommendations.

• Exclusivity: Submission of a manuscript to URDU implies that the work has not been published previously and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Authors must wait for a formal decision (acceptance/rejection) from the editorial board before submitting it to another venue.

• Diversity of Authorship: To promote a wide range of scholarly voices, preference is given to authors whose work has not appeared in the most recent issues. However, exceptional research or invited papers may be considered regardless of previous publication history, subject to rigorous review.

• Submission Process: All manuscripts must be submitted via the official email or the Online Submission System. Only those manuscripts that strictly adhere to the “Author Guidelines” available on our website will be processed for peer review.

• Review Mechanism: Every submission undergoes a double-blind peer-review process. Final approval for publication rests with the Editorial Board, based on the reviewers' feedback.

• Article Processing Charges (APC): URDU does not charge any submission or publication fees.
