Nasim Anjum is one of intellectual and sensitive contemporary writer who potrays the bitter social facts, evils and injustice in human society, bringing forth the new possibilities in urdu fiction.As an eminent colluminist, short story writer and critics, her writings composed of social and feminist sensitivity. Her novels clearly revealed Pakistani society and its obsolete system, problems and diverse aspects of coercion. Social coercion had been the main subject in the novels since nineteenth century. After independence, many novelist focused on the social inequality and exploitation of humans regarding socio۔ecnomic and political situations.In twenty first century, the critical discourse analysis would be discussed in terms of understanding the social realities and sufferings of women. Nasim anjum has a deep insight and realistic view about the gender injustice and violence faced by women in male chauvinistic society. This article explores and analyzes various aspects of outmoded system, human's problems, women sufferings and social coercion in tweenty first century of Pakistani society in her novels.
