The initial and natural form of expression of the patriotism among compatriots is through literature in the regional languages. In this context, Pakistani languages and literature should be used as a tool to promote national cohesion, as well as bring reforms in the society. These powerful communication instruments could be served in constructing a national identity, shaping social realities and developing patriotism among Pakistanis.
