The civilization of Kashmir is as old as human being itself. It is situated in Himalayan range. In past ages it was center of Buddhism and Hinduism. Its golden era was started when it came under Muslims regime. Shah Hamadan played important role in preaching of Islam in this Paradise. Shah miry, Chaks and Mughals rulers uplifted its cultural value but under Afghan and Sikh regime it remains under harsh and oppressive. British sold Kashmir to Maharaja Ghulab Singh only 7.5 million rupees under so called Amritsar treaty. Iqbal’s ancestors were belonged to this valley. Kashmir has eminent position in Iqbal intellectual philosophy. He took active part in Kashmir Freedom Movement during Dograr regime. He emphasized special tribute to Kashmir in his Urdu and Persian poetry as well as in his speeches. Iqbal has visited Kashmir in 1921 for two weeks. Kashmir day was observed under his leadership in 14^th August 1931 in subcontenent. Iqbal was also appointed as President of All India Kashmir Commtte. His services for Kashmir was glorious. This paper represents different dimension of Iqbal, services to Kashmir self۔determination movement in his era.
