Abstract

Mir is a famous poet of the eighteenth century. His poetry has universal and eternal truths. Mir's time was full of chaos, anxiety and disturbance. His personal grief also intensified it. Therefore, Mir has a clear and profound impression of the concept of Tasawur-e-Fana in his poetry but his concept of Tasawur-e-Fana has diversity. He has pessimistic as well as optimistic aspects regarding this concept. He has a deep awareness of the instability of the world, due to which Tasawur-e-Fana is much highlighted in his poetry. This article seeks to highlight all the aspects of Mir's Tasawur-e-Fana.
