Migration tragedy in Gulzar's poetry
Keywords
Indo-pak subcontinent has been victimised by revolutionary and geopolitical challenges since 1947. Due to these factors trends and thinking philosophy of writers and poets has been influenced. Poetry always reflects the deep sentiments which is related to human nature and psychology. Urdu Litrature is also rich with novel and diffrent topics specially based on Migration, community problems and religious integrity. Gulzar as a sensitive legendary person also effected by all these tragic and painful migrations. He produced marvellous piece of work in poetry and prose. He is versatile and has realistic approach to narrate the realities. He by himself faced the disturbance and lawlessness which he transformed in his writings. He prevailed his deep personal feelings during the partition in shape of ruthless loss of lives. Communal riots and terrorism forced a large number of religious communities to leave their native homes and properties and suffer countless difficulties. In following article researcher highlighted Gulzar's work in this regard.
