Urdu literature is incomplete without Allama Iqbal’s description. Iqbal was not only a thinker but also a poet. He did his best in creating self-recognition, futuristic and visionary qualities in Muslim nation. Qasmi was a great appreciator of Iqbal’s ideology and his literary work. Qasmi was a man of high value and immense knowledgeable personality. He was greatly impressed from Iqbal’s idealistic and islamist ideology. Although a lot has been written in Iqbal’s wok but Qasmi’s description and his essays gained unprecedented ratings. It is because Qasmi loved Iqbal and appreciated his ideas to full extent. By his writings and commentaries, Qasmi paved a way in understanding Iqbal’s literary work. Besides this Qasmi also wrote down about family lineage of Allama Iqbal which encompassed not only his education but also his whole life until his death. Qasmi expressed his utmost gratitude and affection for Iqbal in these writings. He accepted Iqbal’s high intellectual and character in a very clear way. This research article will focus on “Qasmi’s Iqbal Shanasi” and try to cover different aspects of iqbal’s personality in Qasmi’s version.
